Another of the "Spanish Giant" Isopod species. P. Expansus are a beautiful large, flat isopod that have a very distinctive colouration and body shape. A must have in the collection of any isopod enthusiast. 

These isopods do well at average UK room temperatures (around 20°C). They enjoy a nice moist area. General guidance would be to keep 4/5 of the enclosure dry. They enjoy a variety of foods such as washed and peeled vegetable scraps, though the stable of their diet should be leaf litter and rotten hardwoods. Ensure they have access to a good source of calcium, we would recommend either cuttlebone, eggshells or oyster shells.
