Absolutely stunning and even though on sale I still received 7 the 2 diddly ones extra really surprised me they are so cute and never expected to get them. I really can't thank the bug room enough these are going to be incredible all a really great size
As always amazingly healthy pods arrived safely. Within 24 hours one had a mismoult and passed but these things happen. The colony is already producing babies so they’ve bounced back. These pods are so keen to explore and one even ventured onto my hand for a wander. Delighted!!

Came very well packaged with great isopod substrate. However I only received 5 when I thought I would get at least 1-2 spare. Slightly disappointed in that.

Merulanella Red Diablo Isopods (Merulanella sp. "Red Diablo")
One of the most striking species of isopod available in the hobby. Merulanella Red Diablo Isopods are very active and great fun to watch!
These isopods do well at average UK room temperatures (around 20°C). They enjoy a nice moisture gradient, general guidance would be to keep 1/3 of the enclosure moist. These Red Diablo Isopods enjoy a variety of foods such as:
- Carrot
- Corgette
- Sweet Potatoes
- Squash
- Green Beans
though the stable of their diet should be leaf litter and rotten hardwoods. Ensure they have access to a good source of calcium, we would recommend either cuttlebone, eggshells or oyster shells.
