Cubaris sp "Panda King" Isopods
A fantasic example of the Cubaris species. Cubaris sp "Panda King" are a gorgeous grey and white banded isopod hailing from Vietnam.
These isopods do well at average UK room temperatures (around 20°C). They enjoy a nice moist environment. General guidance would be to keep 4/5 of the enclosure moist. They enjoy a variety of foods such as washed and peeled vegetable scraps, though the stable of their diet should be leaf litter and rotten hardwoods. Ensure they have access to a good source of calcium, we would recommend either cuttlebone, eggshells or oyster shells.
Cubaris sp "Panda King" Isopods are a fantastic species for both beginners and experienced keepers who are looking for a fast breeding Cubaris species. These isopods can be quite reclusive to begin with, though as the numbers grow they do become more bold over time.
