Centrobolus fulgidus "Black Fire" Millipedes are a fantastic small-medium sized species of millipede. Great fun to watch as they are very active above the surface and have a great appetite.

In terms of humidity for Centrobolus fulgidus "Black Fire" Millipedes, somewhere between 65 - 80% is perfect.
For an adult Centrobolus fulgidus "Black Fire" Millipede or a group you will need to ensure you have and adequately sized enclosure as they reach 7-10cm in length and like to have space to climb branches and explore.
Centrobolus fulgidus "Black Fire" Millipedes enjoy a variety of foods such as washed and peeled vegetable scraps, though the stable of their diet should be leaf litter, rotten hardwoods and flake soil. We also like to ensure they have access to a good source of calcium, we would recommend either cuttlebone, eggshells or oyster shells. We supplement our "Burmese Beauty" Millipedes with dried shrimp for additional protein too.
Please note: All millipedes are captive bred by us here at The Bug Room. It is important for hobbyists to purchase captive bred animals over wild caught species wherever possible.
